Selena Gomez, the renowned singer and actress, has hinted at a potential return to the stage for her devoted followers. Despite taking a break from her music career due to her Lupus diagnosis in 2016, the 31-year-old star of “Only Murders in the Building” expressed to TIME magazine that she’s open to the idea of touring once more.
Selena Gomez, the pop sensation, shared her mixed feelings about returning to live performances. “Nothing makes me happier than 90 minutes of being with my fans and just celebrating together,” she conveyed to the media, while also admitting to being undecided, feeling “50-50” about touring.
She described the experience as “very emotionally draining” and candidly remarked, “And then you realize you’re just surrounded by a bunch of people that you’re paying.”
Following her 2016 album ‘Revival’, Gomez embarked on a tour but had to withdraw midway due to the mental health challenges stemming from her battle with lupus, which included anxiety and depression.
In recent years, Gomez has released singles and worked on collaborations. Her most recent solo project was the 2021 album ‘Revelación’, preceded by ‘Rare’ in 2020, which coincided with the debut of her beauty line, also named ‘Rare’.
Gomez has teased the possibility of releasing a new album this year, though she has yet to reveal the release date for this eagerly awaited project. For more updates, follow Feedbinge.
